SIA “ZIBS” is a company that comes from the kingdom of lampreys, or Carnikava. SIA “ZIBS” has been processing lamprey and other fish for more than 25 years, and their traditions and special recipes has been inherited by the third generation.
The company’s main product is char-grilled lampreys in jelly, which are prepared according to ancient methods. The lampreys are baked in a special oven on coals until they acquire a golden color, each lamprey is “rolled”, pressed with a wooden press and placed in containers of different sizes. The lamprey is not the only product of the company, a wide assortment of fish is smoked with the same love.
