Every year, educational nature excursions are guided along the routes of the “Piejūras Nature Park”, including routes from Lilaste to Lake Ummis, the Garezeri Lakes and the Gauja River estuary, as well as from Kalngale to Carnikava. During the excursions, participants are introduced to the park’s natural values — forests, lakes, wetlands, the seashore, the Gauja River and the diversity of plant species — as well as the history of these areas.
