Near the Kalngale railway station, there is a parabolic dune whose summit and slopes are covered with wild roses. The end of the Rose Dune is marked by the Valley of Life, which is distinguished by a completely different forest structure, where deciduous trees suddenly appear.

The Rose Dune is most beautiful during its blooming period, which usually occurs in spring and early summer.
