The NIG “Carnikavas piestātne” has successfully implemented the project “Carnikavas Stories,” transforming the previously neglected garage wall near the Carnikava pier into an attractive and meaningful mural. The wall used to be painted in various colors, covered in graffiti, and overgrown with bushes, but it has now become a place that tells the history and symbols of Carnikava, turning into a new tourist attraction for both local residents and visitors.

Local artists, as well as students from the Carnikava Art School, actively participated in the project. “Carnikavas Stories” is a successful example of how community initiative and collaboration can create a beautiful and meaningful environment, strengthening residents’ sense of belonging and improving the image of the municipality.
