The Joëlette Finisher hiking wheelchair is designed for people with mobility difficulties and enables access to forest trails in the Piejūra Nature Park. The wheelchair features a large movable front wheel that ensures smooth handling, even on uneven surfaces such as roots and sand. The equipment must always be used with an assistant and is not intended for independent use.

The Van Raam Velo Plus wheelchair transport bicycle is designed for wheelchair users who would like to enjoy rides on smoother routes, such as embankments or the Carnikava promenade. The assistant controls the bicycle, while the passenger, together with their wheelchair, can easily access the front platform without needing to be lifted, making it possible to enjoy the ride together comfortably.

The municipality encourages not only people with mobility impairments to use this opportunity, but also families with senior family members for whom longer walks may be challenging. This equipment offers a chance to experience and enjoy nature together in forest and seaside surroundings.
