Activities
The multi-purpose cycle track (also known as the “pump track”) is located in Ādaži, opposite the Ādaži Primary School. The total area of the asphalted part of the track is 840m2, the length of the track is 207m. The track is suitable for different skill levels and age groups, as well as for training expert cyclists with higher dynamics and suitable terrain for acrobatic jumps.
Please observe the rules of the track!
We all want the cycling track to bring long-lasting joy to the youth and adults of the region and to create only positive emotions for both the visitors and the people around them! That is why we would like to remind you of the rules of the track, which we ask you to follow!
- Track opening hours: from 7.00 a.m. to 11.00 p.m.! No earlier and no later! At all other times, you must not be on the track and you must not disturb the peace of the inhabitants of the nearby houses with loud behaviour/music or in any other way!
- Helmet on head – MANDATORY!
- To avoid collisions, follow the direction of travel indicated on the course poster!
- Be respectful to other visitors!
- Do not leave litter behind! What you bring, take away or throw away in a nearby waste container!
- If you meet a policeman on the track – say hello, don’t run away, but listen to the policeman’s warnings and follow the track rules!
We would be grateful if you could discuss the rules of the track and other safety measures for safe driving with your children again and again at home or at the track! Please also ask that if you, as an adult, accompany your child to the track and notice children without helmets on the track, please ask them to go home and put their helmets on and reprimand them if they do not follow other track rules. Only together can we build an intelligent society, where the sense of duty is more important than punishment!
But if the rules are broken again and again, the police have the right to impose penalties. So, as a reminder, no loitering on the track after 23.00! Also, not only on the cycle track, but also elsewhere, minors (under 16 years of age) are not allowed on the streets or in other public places between 22:00 and 06:00 unless accompanied by an adult! If the person is under 14 years of age, the person’s parents or their substitute shall be held liable for the offence as provided for by law.
