“Labietis” Brewery

The brewery draws inspiration from Latvia’s natural environment and ancient brewing traditions, creating beverages from local ingredients and creative flavor combinations. Alongside grains, water, and hops, various Latvian medicinal herbs are often used in recipes, giving the beer a distinctive character. Honey is a key ingredient in many drinks, reflecting an ancient Baltic brewing tradition that includes both mead and traditional farmhouse beer.

The brewery also produces small-batch beers fermented with wild yeasts, berries, and fruits. Special fermentation methods and barrel-aged beers combine old European brewing practices with the richness of Latvian nature. The result is a range of drinks with a strong character and a truly unique tasting experience.

Brewery Tour

A slightly technical tasting experience surrounded by dozens of tons of beer. Although beer is the second most popular drink in the world after tea, only a few know how to brew it properly. A tour of our brewery is a great way to explore raw ingredients, learn about the brewing process, and ask in-depth questions about its technical aspects.

If pumps and heat exchangers don’t interest you, then beer straight from the tank is the best way to truly enjoy it. The tour includes a tasting of 4 beers, and the duration is up to two hours.
