The trail from Garkalne to Kalngale runs through pine forests and natural areas, parts of which are also located within \u0100da\u017ei Municipality. The route starts at Garkalne railway station and is approximately 20 km long. It is suitable for hiking, with a moderate to challenging difficulty level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Along the way, hikers can enjoy diverse forest landscapes and rich biodiversity. Sections of the trail pass through protected nature areas, including the Piej\u016bra Nature Park<\/strong> and the Garkalne Forest Nature Reserve<\/strong>, where several rare bird species can be observed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Within \u0100da\u017ei Municipality, the route passes through the village of Alderu, where it is possible to take a short break at Alderu Beach on Lake Mazais Baltezers<\/strong>, as well as explore the story of Alderi Park<\/strong> and its historic plantings. Continuing towards Kalngale, visitors can also stop at the Baltezers Tree Nursery<\/strong>, known for its wide variety of plants and peaceful garden atmosphere. Near Kalngale, the Bird Park recreation area<\/strong> offers a firepit and resting facilities.
