\u0100da\u017ei Parish is the largest administrative area in the municipality, where a modern living environment harmoniously coexists with unspoiled nature. It includes several notable villages \u2014 Kadaga, Baltezers, Stapri\u0146i, Garkalne, Alderi, and Atari. The parish is located just a few dozen kilometers from Riga and is easily accessible via the A1 highway.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This area stands out for its rich natural diversity and abundance of water bodies \u2014 here flows not only the swift Gauja River but also the historic Gauja\u2013Baltezers Canal and the Puska River. \u0100da\u017ei Parish is home to several lakes \u2014 Large and Small Baltezers, Atari, Kadaga, Mazuika, Lieluika, D\u016b\u0146as, and Lilaste \u2014 as well as marshlands. \u0100da\u017ei Parish is a popular destination for nature tourists, cyclists, kayakers, and those seeking peaceful relaxation. History and Values of \u0100da\u017ei Parish<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u0100da\u017ei Parish is the largest and oldest territorial unit in the municipality, established following the adoption of the Parish Municipality Law in 1866. Today, it covers an area of 152 km\u00b2 and is home to approximately 5,300 residents.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the administrative center of the parish \u2014 \u0100da\u017ei town \u2014 lies outside the parish boundaries, the historical core is closely connected to a vast manor estate area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The A1 highway runs through the territory, while a civilian airfield is located in Eimuri. The village of Baltezers hosts the 18th-century \u0100da\u017ei Lutheran Church and a monument to industrial history \u2014 the historic Riga pumping station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The parish\u2019s identity is further enriched by a living cultural heritage \u2014 the skills of Gauja river rafters are included in Latvia\u2019s Intangible Cultural Heritage list. Today, \u0100da\u017ei Parish is not only rich in history but also boasts a developed business sector, with active food, brewing, metalworking, and other manufacturing enterprises.<\/p>\n<\/div>
