Its strategic location, well-developed infrastructure, and balance between nature and modern living make it one of the most attractive places to live and grow in Latvia.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The municipality is home to over 24,000 residents, spread across three administrative units: the town of \u0100da\u017ei, \u0100da\u017ei Parish, and Carnikava Parish. Since July 2021, when the former municipalities of \u0100da\u017ei and Carnikava were merged, the local government now covers an area of 243.3 km\u00b2 \u2014 a place where nature, people, and development are equally valued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0100da\u017ei Municipality borders the regions of Saulkrasti, Sigulda, and Ropa\u017ei, and is directly connected to Riga via the electrified railway line and the A1\/E67 highway, ensuring convenient access to the capital and the rest of the country.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 38%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p><strong>\u0100da\u017ei Municipality Coat of Arms<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The coat of arms of \u0100da\u017ei Municipality, approved on January 27, 2022, is the first coat of arms to be officially registered in Latvia following the 2021 administrative-territorial reform.<\/strong> Its visual story was created with respect for the municipality\u2019s geography, natural heritage, and the people who form this community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-8cf370e7 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p>The coat of arms combines symbols that reflect the municipality\u2019s identity and natural diversity:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-amber-color\">Gold and silver<\/mark> signify the municipality\u2019s nobility, integrity, and respectful attitude toward nature and society.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">The blue wedge<\/mark> symbolizes the confluence of the Gauja River with the Gulf of Riga, as well as the initial letter \u201c\u0100\u201d of the municipality\u2019s name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-green-cyan-color\">The Lobelia dortmanna<\/mark>, a protected aquatic plant found in the municipality\u2019s lakes, represents natural wealth, family values, and balance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"250\" height=\"298\" src=\"https:\/\/turisms.adazi.lv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Adazu_novads_COA_2022.svg_.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3456 size-full\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u0100da\u017ei Municipality is located in the northeastern part of the Pier\u012bga region, where the Gulf of Riga meets the Gauja River, the longest river in Latvia.
