Adazi airfield
Adazi airfield is located 19 km northeast of the center of Riga and 26 km from the Riga airport, in the direction of the road A1, Riga-Tallinn, about 6 km from the center of Adazi. The offer includes a certified general purpose airfield for aviation flights that complies with current requirements and standards. It is possible to conduct training flights with aircraft whose maximum take-off weight does not exceed 5700 kg and whose take-off and landing characteristics correspond to the characteristics of the airfield. Also, thanks to its geographical location, the airfield “Adazi” can be used for excursions and private flights.
The airfield has a model aircraft area, which is divided into two parts:
Two specialized areas for fixed line aircraft – 7000 sq m area.
One 10,000 sq m area for radio controlled aircraft.
Dzīvo Sapņu dārzs (Garden of living dreams)
Miniature zoo in the center of Ādaži, where children can feed and get to know its inhabitants during summer. “Dzīvo sapņu dārzs” (Garden of living dreams) follows a direct contact principle, removing barriers between visitors and animals.
