Path of bells

A place for walks and relaxation on the left bank of the Gauja River in the company of bells. Closest parking lot is at the Flea market. This amazing walking trail is made by two local guys who just enjoy being in nature and letting others to enjoy the magic of this wild path.

Distance between parking lot and beginning of the path is around 800 m. Path it self~ 1km. It is not suitable for strollers or bicycles.

This is a local shop which offers production created in Latvia! Most of it comes from Ādaži county like “Soira” cheeses, “Adaži honey”, “Moonberry” juices, candies, “Emerald” coffee and other delicacies. You can buy all this, as well as enjoy coffee on the roof of the cell house.

SOIRA

“Soira” is an artisanal cheese dairy located in Ādaži Municipality, where visitors can discover traditional cheesemaking methods and enjoy locally produced cheeses. The dairy’s name is derived from the Livonian word “sȭira”, highlighting the long-standing cheesemaking traditions of the region.

The cheeses are crafted using organic milk sourced from nearby dairy farms, with a strong focus on quality and traditional artisanal production methods. By prior arrangement, groups can visit the dairy, learn about the cheesemaking process, and take part in a guided cheese tasting experience.

“Soira” offers an opportunity to explore local flavours, gain insight into traditional craftsmanship, and enjoy an authentic gastronomic experience in Ādaži Municipality.

10 minutes for undressing before the pool, 1 hour for swimming, 10 minutes for washing and dressing after the pool.
If you have signed up for a specific time but arrive later, your actual swimming/dressing time will be reduced by the missed time.

Ādažu Honey

A family company engaged in beekeeping in Ādaži county. Not only honey is available, but also ecological products from beeswax. Company offers bee products for beauty and health from-meadow flower honey, honey with different flavors in a larger jar or sets of small jars, as well as a beeswax lip balm or hand cream with nourishing and protective properties, which will be especially useful in the cold season when the lips and the skin tends to become dry and with microcracks.

Ādaži honey products can be purchased at the store “Zelta Pienene”, located in the “Mandarīns” shopping center, Carnikava, Atpūtas Street 1.

The company has won several important awards, such as the Latvian Beekeeping Society (LBB) award for the NEW BEEKEEPER OF THE YEAR 2020, the Latvian Beekeeping Society (LBB) award for the BEST PRODUCT LABEL 2022, 2nd place.

The exciting “Ādažu Chips” Nutrition Class provides an opportunity to:

  • Learn about a balanced diet and its importance in an attractive way;
  • Get to know the prerequisites for snacking;
  • Learn the story of Potato Chips from the farmer’s truck to the warehouse;
  • Get an idea of ​​the salty snacks production process;
  • Create chips with your own special taste in the creative workshop of the nutrition class;
  • In the virtual 360-degree tour, you can measure the path of the chips in the factory from sorting potatoes to the warehouse shelf.

The bridge over Gauja river

On December 19, 2007, the most beautiful bridge connecting the center of Ādaži with Kadaga was opened in Ādaži over the longest Latvian river Gauja. The bridge is a unique engineering solution for Latvia and Europe, and it fits well into the overall landscape of the territory. The construction of the bridge was carried out in cooperation with the Ādažu County Council and the Ministry of Defense. Its foundation stone and message to future generations was buried in December 2004

E-FOIL Ādaži

E-FOIL is a great way to spend sunny days in an unusual way, both actively playing sports and quietly enjoying the beautiful moments. The E-FOIL is an electrically motorized surfboard that allows the rider to take off up to 80cm above the water. You can certainly try E-FOIL on Vējupes beach in Ādāži.

Children’s entertainment park “Sapņu Zeme”

 

It is providing an opportunity to spend exciting time for children and adults alike, both on a daily basis and on holidays.

The indoor entertainment park with various attractions and a ball pool can be visited both daily and reserved for celebrations. Mothers can safely take their very small babies with them, because the recreation center has a Mother’s room, where mothers can feed and change their babies without interruption. A large selection of helium balloons will be available both everyday and on holidays, and the “Sapņu Zeme” offers various inflatable attractions for rent and for house parties.
