Līgo square
Līgo square, or park, is in the heart of the city of Adazi. It got its name from the fact that in this place, during the Revival, the St. John’s Day celebration was held for the first time in the center of Adazi. Previously, public celebration of St. John’s Day in the kolkhoz was allowed only outside Adazi, for example in Alderi. The first improvement works on the former sports field of the old school took place in the 90s, but the place has undergone gradual transformation several times. A playground has been created in the recreation park, paths have been built – including the “big circle” surrounding the park’s festive area and the festive tree, a mobile event stage, a Ligo bonfire place and landscaping. Today, the park is also home to the “Garden of Living Dreams”, where children have the opportunity to pet, feed and get to know pets in the summer. Important county events are also held here.

Flea market
Lietu Tirgotava is a place where items that are no longer needed by one person can become truly useful to another. It brings together sustainable thinking, a creative atmosphere, and a community gathering space.
The venue offers catering services, creative workshops, and event spaces for various activities. At the weekly flea market, visitors can find household goods and antiques, porcelain figurines, handmade crafts, honey and vegetables, as well as vintage radios, vinyl records, and many other unique items.
The flea market takes place every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., from late April to late October.

Greenway
From the city of Ādaži to Carnikava a protective embankment stretches along the left bank of the Gauja River. The main function of it is to reduce the risk of floods, but at the same time it has become a unique walking and cycling path. Going for leisurely walks together with your family or pet, you can enjoy the fabulous magic of nature at different times of the year. It is also a safe cycle path that connects Carnikava with Ādaži.
